Talk about a powerhouse performance.
Snoop Dogg, Reba McEntire, Gwen Stefani and Michael Bublé teamed up to cover the Four Tops’ “Reach Out I’ll Be There” in their first-ever “Voice” coach performance in anticipation of Season 26 premiering in September.
The clip features each of the four singers, backed by a band, taking a line from the song before they join in on the famous chorus. Each of them then show off their own vocal talents again, with Snoop, who’s currently charming viewers at the 2024 Paris Olympics, chiming in with “Come on, girl, reach out for me / Put your hand on mine, Reba / Come on, girl” before they dive back into the chorus.
They each get another opportunity to showcase their well-known voices before wrapping up the track, with Bublé and Stefani raising their hands in triumph followed by Snoop and McEntire doing the same.
Fans watching the video on YouTube loved what they saw and heard.
“Perfect song for them! Snoop is so good, Buble could sing the phone book and make it a #1 hit, Reba Gwen perfection. I love it!” one person wrote.
“This is fantastic! Whoever picked this song choice is a genius. I freaking loved that!” another person raved. “They all blended so perfectly in their solos and harmonies. I found myself singing along to this. That was honestly one of my favorite coach performances so far. Y’all better sang!”
“Can we all appreciate the TALENT we have in the coaches this season? This is INSANE!” someone else commented.
“If this is the new crew it is going to be awesome,” another person wrote.
The quartet will be in the coaches’ seats for the 26th season of the singing competition, with Snoop and Bublé joining the show for the first time.
