Luke Combs’ family honored fallen service members in a special way this holiday season
While many spend the holidays with their loved ones, it is also time to remember those no longer with us. Luke Combs’ wife, Nicole, and their two young sons recently partnered with the nonprofit organization Wreaths Across America to spread Christmas love to those who lost their lives in service to our nation.
Each year, more than two million volunteers gather for the annual Wreaths Across America Day. The event takes place at local, state, and national cemeteries across all 50 states. The tradition was designed to pay tribute to our nation’s service members and their families.
The 2024 theme was “Living With Purpose,” inspired by the “remarkable stories of these volunteers whose impactful work in their communities is a beacon of inspiration for all.”

About Wreaths Across America
Wreaths Across America began in 1992 when the Maine-based Worcester Wreath Company was nearing the end of the holiday season with a surplus of unsellable wreaths. The owner, Morrill Worcester, recalled a childhood visit to Arlington National Cemetary, which left an indelible impression on him.
He was inspired to send the extra wreaths to Arlington. One by one, local partners, including a trucking company, members of the American Legion, and state senators, stepped up to make the dream come to fruition.
Now, 30 years later, the annual operation places millions of wreaths on gravesites in more than 3,700 locations. Wreaths Across America commits to “teaching all generations about the value of their freedoms and the importance of honoring those who sacrificed so much to protect those freedoms.”

Nicole’s sister Jenna also joined for the family activity and shared that they participate in the tradition annually in honor of their “Papo.” She wrote:
“This year was extra special bringing my nephews along with us 🤍 Remember and honor our veterans and teach the next generation the same 🇺🇸”
It is clear that Luke and Nicole Combs and their family believe in the importance of teaching honor and gratitude to their children. Bravo!
