A young man has drowned at a swimming hole at Sydney’s Royal National Park.
The alarm was raised about 2.35pm on Monday, with emergency services racing to the park south of the city.
The man had already been pulled from the water when police and paramedics arrived.
He was treated at the scene but could not be revived.
The man is yet to be formally identified but police believe he is aged in his 20s.
“Police established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the man’s death,” authorities said in a statement.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
