Kid Rock Reacts to Presidential Election Results

Kid Rock has officially spoken out about the results of the 2024 presidential election.

It’s no secret that Kid Rock is very open when it comes to sharing his political views. The outspoken country-rock artist has consistently voiced his support for President-elect Donald Trump, who he has described as a “good friend” for many years.

He even made an appearance at the 2024 Republican National Convention when Trump accepted the Republican nomination for president. There, he delivered a high-energy mashup of his hits “American Bad Ass” and “Cowboy.”

As most people know by now, on Tuesday, November 5, Republican Donald J. Trump was officially announced as the 47th President of the United States after a race against Democratic nominee Kamala Harris.

Following Donald Trump’s historic presidential win, many country music artists have shared their reactions to the news. Now, Kid Rock has posted his own response in a video on social media.

The video, titled “Official Election Reaction: Kid Rock vs. Bob Ritchie,” opens with Kid Rock walking through a door and up to a mic stand in a bright red tracksuit adorned with elaborate gold flames.

As he approaches the mic, he places a white fedora marked with “MAGA” on his head. Grabbing the mic, he makes a dramatic statement with a mic drop and a few explicit hand gestures before the video cuts to the next clip.

As the video continues, Bob Ritchie walks through the same door. For those who don’t know, Bob Ritchie is Kid Rock’s real name.

In this part of the video, he’s dressed in a white t-shirt and green casual shorts, representing a more toned-down version of the Kid Rock we typically see on stage.

This time, he walks over to sit in a chair before speaking directly to the camera.

“First off, let me convey to my family, my friends, and my supporters that now is not the time to gloat,” Bob Ritchie begins. “We must remember that most of our left-leaning friends are good people who want the same things in life as we do, but simply think differently about how to get there. It is now time to be the bigger person, to extend an olive branch, and unite all reasonable people of this great nation.”

As he speaks, clips of Donald Trump at past rallies appear, followed by a clip of Kid Rock singing his 2017 hit “American Rock N’ Roll,” which ends the video.
