On Nov. 26, 2024, during his show at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, Jelly Roll made a dream come true when he joined Snoop Dogg on stage. The two shared a moment that included a special connection and a blunt.
“I don’t want to put you on the spot, but I know that you’ve got an album coming out real soon that was produced by the legendary Dr. Dre,” Jelly said. “What I’m not sure that these people know, is that you gave me the honor of being a feature on that album… Snoop Dogg, I know this is a lot to ask of you, but can we debut our song here in my hometown right now?”
Snoop Dogg turned to the crowd and asked, “Nashville, can we debut this song right now?” The audience responded with excitement as the two performed a new track, “Last Dance With Mary Jane.” Paying homage to the 1993 Tom Petty classic, Snoop handled the rap while Jelly Roll joined in for the memorable chorus.
“Last Dance With Mary Jane” is featured on Snoop’s upcoming album, Missionary, set for release on December 13.
