Season 26 of The Voice is nearly over, as the five hopefuls competing in next week’s finale have been revealed.
During night two of this season’s semi-final round, the field of eight competitors was cut to five. The shocking results revealed that each coach will be represented during The Voice season finale!
Last week, the coaches hand-picked two artists from their team to compete in the semi-finals, marking the last time during the season that the coaches had any say in the fate of their team. America had the last word as public voting determined which artists would advance. Early in Tuesday’s hour-long semi-final results show, four finalists were announced. The remaining four sang one more time in hopes of earning an Instant Save and a place in next week’s final.
Who are the finalists?
The first artist to advance was…Sonfronio Vasquez of Team Buble. After a commercial break and a performance from Gwen Stefani, two more finalists were named. Those were…Team Gwen’s Sydney Sterlace and Team Snoop’s Jeremy Beloate.
After another break, it was revealed that Shye of Team Buble was also a finalist.
That left Christina Eagle (Team Snoop), Jan Dan (Team Gwen), Adam Bohanan (Team Reba), and Danny Joseph (Team Reba) singing for America’s vote one more time. The results left Reba fans nervous that the reigning champion coach may not have an artist in the finale!
Christina Eagle, the last remaining country artist in the competition, sang Lainey Wilson’s “Heart Like A Truck.” After her performance, Snoop plead with America to send her through due to her being the only country singer left.
Adam Bohanan covered “Pretty Wings” by Maxwell. Reba reacted to Adam’s performance by saying, “You never cease to amaze me. Your vocals were incredible. Your range is incredible … I’m so proud of you.”
Jan Dan opted to sing “Gravity” by John Mayer. His coach, Gwen Stefani, said, “Wow! America, what are we doing? You’ve gotta vote for Jan Dan. That was beautiful. It was actually spiritual and mind-blowing.”
Finally, Danny Joseph performed “House Of The Rising Sun.” Coach Reba told him, “Danny, you have always come out here, and I’m never nervous when you walk on the stage because I know that you have that confidence. America, vote for Danny.”

Carson Daly then announced that the Instant Save voting window was open. For five minutes, America could vote for which artist they wanted to see in the finals. At the end of the episode, host Carson Daly revealed that Danny Joseph would be moving on, putting to rest any nerves Reba fans were feeling!
The results left Team Buble with 2 finalists , Team Gwen, Team Snoop, and Team Reba with 1 each.
The two-part finale will air live on Monday and Tuesday (December 9th and 10th) on NBC. Each finalist will perform Monday night for America’s vote. During Tuesday night’s results show, the artists will take the stage to perform with their coach.
Special guests set to perform during the two-night event include former coaches Kelly Clarkson and Dan + Shay, country stars Riley Green and Ella Langley, and former Voice champions, Asher HaVon and Huntley. Carly Pearce will also make an appearance to debut her new duet with Michael Buble called “Maybe This Christmas.”
